Steve Miller Band Announces Red Rocks Show for Summer of 2022

Red Rocks will become 'Swingtown' when the legendary Steve Miller Band hit the stage this summer.

From his beginnings in San Francisco during the 60's to today, Steve Miller's psychedelic -blues sound has sold millions of records, and thrilled millions of fans worldwide.

Steve and his band were ready to rock the world again in 2020, but Covid-19 shut those plans down. They are embarking on that desired tour in 2022 in support of his latest release,  "Steve Miller Band Live! Breaking Ground: August 3, 1977," which came out in 2021.

Steve Miller Band will perform on Monday, August 22, 2022, at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. One of music legends, at Colorado's legendary venue.

Steve and the gang will play a slew of songs that are immediately recognizable to fans, including, "Take the Money and Run," "Jet Airliner," "Swingtown," "Abracadabra," "Jungle Love," "The Joker," "Fly Like An Eagle," "Rockin' Me,"

Whenever I hear about Steve Miller at Red Rocks, I always flashback to the time I saw them there back in the mid-90s. As me and my gang approached the gate, I realized that I didn't have my ticket on me; it'd fallen on to floor of my friend's car. And by the time we'd walked all they up to the gate, I had no idea where we'd parked.

I ended up waiting by the gate, in the rain, as my friends had all gone into to the show. Finally, I security guy felt sorry for me and let me in after the opening act had finished. Steve was great that night.
