G.O.A.T. sports bar of Greeley expands into Windsor

Finding a great sports bar in Northern Colorado will be getting a little easier by the end of 2025, with a highly successful one in Greeley goes for a second location.

In 2021, it was announced that the longtime operator of Kenny's Steakhouse, Matt Larson, along with his son were opening a new sports bar in Greeley: The G.O.A.T. It quickly became of the city's "hot spots," with a great location, great food/drinks, a great vibe and lots of sports.

The G.O.A.T. opened their first location in Centerplace (off of 46th Avenue) near a hotel, Homeward Suites by Hilton, the second location will also be by a hotel.

When a bar/restaurant finds success, it must be exciting to think about opening another location: 'Where will it be?" has to be the main question. There are so many spots around Northern Colorado that could use a fun place to hang out for Broncos games and other sports.

I was on my way to work in July of 2025, taking a different route than normal due to road construction, when I came across a construction site: "Future home of The G.O.A.T Sports Bar."

Where Will the New G.O.A.T Sports Bar Be?

The new spot is in Windsor, along the northside of Crossroads Boulevard at Hospitality Drive, not far from Fuzzy's Taco Stop. There is a hotel near this spot, which will work out well for guest staying there. This entire area is really growing with housing, too. I think they found an excellent spot for continued success.
