The Foundry in Loveland recently had its grand opening. Though it has the movie theater and apartments, not many businesses have been announced so far.

The first business to be announced as a tenant in The Foundry was Mo' Betta Gumbo, the second business to sign a lease is also a restaurant.

The Reporter-Herald has the story on how Colorado Coffee Company will be occupying a space on the ground floor on the Cleveland side of The Foundry.

Colorado Coffee Company currently has a location that they've had for a few years in east Loveland off of Boyd Lake Drive next to First National Bank. Many long-time locals like myself will recall their great shop within the old Foothills Fashion Mall, where they began in 1994.

A cofffe shop does not sound like it fits the title of 'restaurant' but the new location will be Colorado Coffee & Cafe - where they'll have not only coffee, teas and such but also food: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

They'll be open early and stay open late, which will be great for office workers downtown, as well as folks out on dates in the evening.  Colorado Coffee & Cafe will aslo have gelato - great for relaxing on the Foundry plaza.

They hope to open in early 2020.
