Thanksgiving is traditionally a day of thanks, even if over the years it's turned into an overindulgence of food, football and, frankly, family time.

Regardless of what your plans are this year, we're always reminded of Thanksgivings past and how special at least one of two of them over our lives were because of who we were with... whether as kids with our parents, or with our own kids, and perhaps relatives from days past who are no longer with us.

They've gotten the go ahead from the Love's in Grand Junction to set up shop and provide pre-cooked and packaged homemade Thanksgiving dinners to truckers that pass through all day long. Their goal is to provide 200 meals that day to the men and women who keep the country moving.

You can check out their mission and their GoFundMe campaign. Their goal is to raise $1,800 to cook 200+ meals, and they're well on their way.

What a neat idea to give back in a personal way.
