We Will Rock You, the theatrical musical featuring the songs of Queen, has announced a North American tour.

The trek launches Sept. 3 in Winnipeg, Canada, before winding its way through more than 60 cities. New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas are among the U.S. stops.

You can see a full list of tour dates below.

The musical, which has been in existence since 2002, received a new reworking courtesy of Music Director Stuart Morley, who was asked personally by Queen guitarist Brian May to oversee the updated version. The result has given We Will Rock You an edgier sound, more reflective of Queen’s live performances.

“I’ve re-Queened the score,” Morley proclaimed during an interview with the Calgary Herald. “I went to Queen’s studio and I listened to old vocals. This new score is far more accurate and authentic. When they were creating the original score for the musical, they made it more theatrical than authentic. I’m a purist so I want to bring the score back to its roots. I’ve been given access to tapes no one else has been given to work with. I feel this new version of the musical can be something not even Brian and [drummer] Roger [Taylor] thought it could become.”

Since its debut 17 years ago, more than 16 million fans in 19 different countries have seen the musical. The production features a long list of Queen’s biggest hits, including “We Are the Champions,” “Radio Ga Ga,” “I Want to Break Free,” “Somebody to Love,” “Killer Queen,” “Don’t Stop Me Now,” “Under Pressure,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Another One Bites the Dust” and the beloved title track.

We Will Rock You’s latest tour comes at a time of incredible popularity for Queen. The 2018 movie Bohemian Rhapsody won four Academy Awards and earned nearly $1 billion at the global box office, catapulting the band back into the pop-culture limelight. The group's streaming numbers and sales figures have placed them among the industry's most successful artists.

Meanwhile, the band's remaining original members, May and Taylor, have seen their Queen + Adam Lambert collaboration deliver one of the most popular tours of the year.
