Propose at Panera Tomorrow and Possibly Get your Wedding Catered for Free
To celebrate Valentine's Day, Panera Bread is spreading their love to five lucky couples with a pretty sweet promotion. If you thought Panera couldn't get steamier than a bowl of broccoli cheese soup, you are wrong. On February 14, the restaurant/bakery chain is hoping to heat things up even more, by offering to cater five lucky couples' wedding receptions for free. The catch – they have to get engaged at, or in front of a Panera restaurant, and then post a photo on social media, using the hashtag #PaneraProposalSweeps. Couples have from 9 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. EST to enter.
In order to qualify, couples must be over the age of 18, be legal U.S. residents, and have an active social media account (Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram) at the time of entry. The five winners will be selected at random from all the entries and gifted a fully catered wedding reception, valued at $2,000. According the the restaurant's website, the reception does need to take place before December 31, 2019, and the wedding venue also must be located within 30 miles of a Panera Bread location. If love goes stale and a winning couple cancels their wedding for any reason, the prize will be forfeited with no alternate winner. Also, any indecent, obscene, hateful, tortuous, defamatory or libelous entries will automatically be disqualified. Unfortunately for our neighbors in Wyoming, you are prohibited from entering, along with folks from Alaska, Hawaii, Montana, and Utah.
