One in Four Facebook Users Lie in Their Profile According to a New Study
A new report indicates that one in four Facebook users falsify information in their profile, and not necessarily to impress a potential date.
What's the main reason Facebook users aren't totally honest online?
Privacy! The study found that most users want to keep personal information, personal and private.
In a survey of 2,000 households, 25% of users said they falsified information in their profiles to protect their identity, Consumer Reports said. That’s up from 10% in a similar survey two years ago.
