We Asked A.I. to Turn 7 Popular Northern Colorado Towns Into ‘Action Figures;’ Look What Happened
In the spring of 2025, you couldn't get away from seeing people being depicted as action figures. We asked A.I. to do that, with the dolls being towns around Northern Colorado.
Northern Colorado Towns If They Were Turned Into Action Figures
I don't know where/when the trend began, but by mid-April of 2025 every time you looked to Facebook I was seeing "Action Figure" depictions of famous people, TV characters and friends of mine.
I got the idea to use the A.I. that we're allowed to use, to see what it would look like if we did that using descriptions of residents of towns around Fort Collins.
I asked Canva A.I. to create an action figure that was a male, in his 50s, bald, having glasses, headphones and a microphone, and also smiling. It turned out fairly accurate.

Maybe it was the hit movie "Barbie" that somehow got this "Action Figures" thing off the ground, though that was a few years ago. Whatever the cause, it was really popular in the spring of 2025.

In the end, we're all pretty much the same in Colorado; I asked ChatGPT to give me five-word descriptions of people who live in seven towns in Northern Colorado, and they all came out very similar. Turns out, we're all a bit "outdoorsy," in NoCo. Who would have guessed, right?
It is fun to see the little boxes of our towns as "Action Figures," maybe with a coffee, or a dog, maybe a puffy jacket. I used Canva.com and their A.I., which we are allowed to use.
