Mugs Coffee in Fort Collins Chooses to Sit Out the Shutdown

Just because a business can stay open during the 'stay-at-home' order doesn't mean that they have to. Sometimes, it just makes more sense to close for the duration.

A lot of businesses have already chosen not to stay open during the stay-at-home  'shutdown;' including a favorite coffee shop of ours in the Choice City.

Mugs Coffee Lounge has decided to close all of their Fort Collins locations for the time being, stating their reasoning on their Facebook page:

...we feel that the safety of our employees and the safety of our community is our priority, and our duty. We would like to be a part of the solution and help encourage everyone to stay at home as the world works to control the growth of infections.

Going for a walk and stopping for a cup of coffee is one of my weekend plans, both for some exercise and to help the local economy. I completely respect Mugs' decision, I just hope that the Downtown Loveland coffee shops near me keep their doors open.
