More Moose and Wildlife Expected in Town from High Park Fire

This video was taken an hour or so west of Fort Collins. We happened upon this guy by complete surprise, and he was traveling with a friend. At a moments notice, we were a bit too close to about 2,000 pounds of moose.

They say you know you are too close to a moose if it is looking at you.

More animals will be seen over the next few days and weeks because of the High Park Fire. Keep in mind any wild animal you see in town are not to be approached or bothered. Call the Humane Society or emergency numbers if the animal is in danger or is causing a problem.
