Man Impersonates Fort Collins Bike Shop Manager To Steal Bikes

A Fort Collins bike store manager is warning anyone looking for a new bike to be extra careful. He says someone has been using his name to steal, and sell bikes online.

John Lambert is the store manager at Recycled Cycles near south College Ave in Fort Collins.

He says that someone has made numerous posts on a APP called "Let Go" using his name to sell bikes. The person takes pictures of bikes on CSU campus then puts them up for sale on the APP. When someone is interested, he allegedly cuts the bike lock sells the stolen bike.

Labert informed the police and they found the man using the app. He was selling a $700 bike for $100.
