The barbecue and entertainment venue slated for the corner of 5th and Cleveland in Downtown Loveland has announced that they won't be opening.

The location is great, and they'd done a lot to the exterior of the building, so it really shouldn't take too long for someone to come and take over refurbishing the spot and opening up.

Chef Clay and his partner, who were going to open Miss Daisy's BBQ and Blues, at 5th and Cleveland, have decided that Chef Clay can't continue with that project AND expand Mo 'Betta Gumbo on 4th Street. So, they've stepped away from Miss Daisy's and the site is for lease.

Mo 'Betta has been in need of this expansion for years.  Concentrating on that, solely and getting it done, will be great for the restaurant and for Downtown.

What sort of spot do you see taking over the Miss Daisy's location?  Maybe another BBQ place? Or something completely different?
