Loveland High Student Shoots and Scores a Year of Chick-Fil-A
During halftime of a recent Loveland High basketball game, one of the Loveland players had two minutes to shoot four specific shots to win.
I heard about this from a friend of the player's parents. Kyle Powell, a guard on the Loveland High basketball team, won a year of Chick-Fil-A during the home game of Loveland High vs. Roosevelt on February 8, 2020.
It's not clear how Kyle got chosen to compete in the contest at halftime, but there he was, giving it a shot. Four shots, to be exact.
He had to make a lay-up, a free throw, a three-pointer, and a half-court shot all within two minutes.
Kyle pulled it off and was awarded the prize. That's a lot of Chick-Fil-A.
The Indians went on to beat the Rough Riders 64-50, as well. A good night for Loveland, for sure.
