Loveland Cancels Annual Fishing Derby

Normally, about 500 trout are put into the duck pond at North Lake Park in Loveland for kids to fish for. This, of course, is not a normal year.

Scheduled for early June, in conjunction with the Loveland Police Department and others (including Colorado Youth Outdoors, who would help kids clean and then fry the caught fish), the City of Loveland has announced that the 34th annual Fishing Derby won't be happening.
