Larimer County to Open Limited COVID-19 Testing Community-Wide
Starting Friday, April 24, 2020, Larimer County will be opening up COVID-19 testing for symptomatic people with the limited supply of tests that they've received.
First off, to get this test you do have to be symptomatic and at least 18 years old.
This testing will be by appointment only and requires pre-registration. A doctor's note is not needed, but you are advised to start by talking to your health professional because they can help guide you through the process. Another benefit of checking with your doctor before registering to be tested is that they may have their own testing equipment and be able to save you some time.
The Larimer County Department of Health and Environment notes that testing is a key part in lifting restrictions regarding the pandemic, so it's best to make careful use of those we have access to.
The registration form for Larimer's COVID-19 testing can be found HERE.
