
Great Pumpkin: Jack-O-Lantern Festival Coming to Colorado
Few things feel more like fall that the sight, smell (or spiced taste) of pumpkins, and the State of Colorado has one of the largest festivals dedicated to them you've ever seen.
Happening Sept 19 thru November 2, the "Magic of the Jack O' Lanterns" Festival is going down at Hudson Gardens in Denver, and will feature more than 7,000 lit up, carved pumpkins in addition to lights, games and fun for the whole family.

It's the fifth annual event of its kind and if you've ever been before, you know these are not your typical smiley face with the pointy teeth kind of carved pumpkins.
The Magic of the Jack O’ Lanterns delights all ages on a glowing trail of thousands of magnificent, hand-carved pumpkins. A nautical sea-scape, a pirate ship, dinosaurs, dragons, and much more, all softly aglow throughout the event. You’ll find magic around every corner!
Tickets will start at just $14.99 for kids and includes a walk down the Jack O' Lanterns trail and the Enchanted Hollow trail, in addition to fun, games, interactive activities and the usual autumn-esque food, drinks and treats you would expect from a festival dedicated to all things pumpkin.

The Jack O' Lanterns trail obviously is lit with thousands of carved pumpkins, the the Enchanted Hollow trail is new in 2025 and features a whimsical light show and fall displays, in addition to what organizers call "moments of wonder that will delight guests of all ages."
