Like acting? Like scaring people? Have I got the gig for you.

As Halloween approaches in the State of Colorado, the Frightmare Compound is one of the state's longest running scare attractions each and every fall, having been there in some way, shape or form for more than the last 40 years.

And they've announced their casting call for the 2025 season.

If you've ever been through a particularly scary haunted house, you've either wondered what in the world goes through the minds of the people who dress up like that, jump out and scare you - OR - you've secretly wanted to be one of them. If you fall into the latter category, now is definitely your chance.

Last year they had more than 80 actors moving about the compound doing their best to scare the patrons and if you feel like you may be up to the task, now is your time to shine.

August 27 and 28 they'll be having hiring events on location at the "Compound" located at 10798 Yukon Street in Westminster.

Both hiring meetings will start at 6 PM.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and have parents permission if they're under 18 obviously. The applications do ask about your age, plus your height and weight to determine the best role, in addition to whether or not you've worked in a haunted house before.

The dates for this year have not yet been announced, but for comparison's sake, last year the event ran from September 13 through November 2.
