The Sweet Joy of Trick-or-Treating in Colorado

There is no better feeling as a kid than going home after trick-or-treating with a full bag of sweets.

As soon as my sister and I were back in our house, we'd start trading candies. I loved chocolate, but hated Reece's so my sister would end up with a massive pile of the peanut butter candy by the end of the night.

Since I was the oldest sibling by five years, I continued to tag along for trick-or-treating a year or two longer than some of my peers. By the time I was in high school, I traded this holiday tradition for Halloween parades and parties.
