Here’s What Colorado’s Doing at the Great American State Fair

What Colorado's 'Display' is Made Up of at the Great American State Fair
I had heard that at least 10 states weren't attending the Great American State Fair, and was curious if Colorado was one of them. We are not; Colorado is there in Washington for the occasion, and the ColoradoPolitics.com tracked down what Colorado is showcasing:
- A replica of the well-known "Welcome to Colorful Colorado" road sign.
- Living pine trees. Not sure why they didn't choose blue spruce trees, as they're our State Tree.
- A ski lift. "Ooh, look honey, we'll never ski Aspen, but we can sit like we're skiers."
- A "feature" inspired by Red Rocks. I can't imagine what that might be; maybe small replica of the amphitheatre?
- Items that Colorado will be placing the the America 250 Time Capsule, including postcards from all around Colorado.

- A copy of 'The Shining' novel.
- A few six packs of Colorado craft beers.
