Tiho’s Adds Great Patio to Main Street in Downtown Windsor

On beautiful Colorado days, which we have many, it just feels right to be sitting on a patio and enjoying a drink.  A Mexican restaurant in Downtown Windsor added one in the summer of 2026, making margaritas sound even more enticing.

Into Second Year, Tiho's Adds Outdoor Patio Dining

When I heard that Tiho's Tequila Bar & Restaurant (which opened in the summer of 2024) was adding a patio, I really though it was going to be on the south side of the restaurant; then, I found out that it was going to be right along Main Street. Hearing that made me very excited as I'm a big fan of Tiho's, as well as patios; it sounded great.

Tiho's is Not Downtown Windsor's Only Patio, But...

Before Tiho's launched their patio, you could find outside patios at a few places in Downtown: Upstairs at The Hearth, out back at Peculier Ales, out back at William Oliver's, and out back at Windsor Mill Tavern. Tiho's patio sits right above Main, giving you great views of Windsor Lake and great "people watching" opportunities.

As any great patio should be, Tiho's has plenty of seating (about a dozen 4-tops,) shade (umbrellas and tarps,) and a great Happy Hour. Tiho's checks the boxes: their Happy Hour (2:00-5:00 p.m. Mon-Sat, All day Sunday) includes half off draft beers and $6 House Margs.)

When I checked out the patio, I stopped in for lunch on a hot day. I really enjoyed it, as well as my lunch (get the French Onion Pozole.) I can see it making for a great date spot, for lunch meetings, or for just kicking back with a cold beverage on a nice day.
