Horsetooth Mountain Park Visitors Can Now Use Debit or Credit Cards to Pay Entrance Fees
Larimer County installed an automated pay station at the Horsetooth Mountain Park Trailhead yesterday that allows visitors to pay the entrance fee with a debit or credit card instead of the older cash or check and handwritten envelopes.
“It's something that really has been a long time coming,” said Dan Rieves, visitor services manager for Larimer County Department of Natural Resources.
“It's been on the wish list for a long time.”

The park had extra money in fees last season to to a busy recreation center, so the upgrade to the new payment system was able to be added.
