In a press conference today, Governor Jared Polis issued an emergency, temporary Stay-At-Home Order for Colorado starting this Thursday, March 26 at 6 a.m.

This is not the same thing as a Shelter-in-Place Order, meaning that Coloradans can still leave the house for essential supplies, hike or go outside (given that they practice social distancing), and go to work if they are essential workers.

This order is scheduled to last through April 11, 2020. In the press conference (which is embedded in full below), Polis said that "we all look forward to easing these restrictions as soon as possible."
