Oil and gas is something we all hear about a lot here in Northern Colorado.

Under a new bill, the City of Fort Collins is seeking public input on potential oil and gas regulations within city limits.

So if you have thoughts and feelings about this issue, let them be heard. As of April, 2019, local governments now manage the regulations around the siting and surface impacts of oil and gas development.

Two public meetings have been scheduled to provide information and to hear public input.

The meetings will be held 6-8 p.m. on March 2 in the Columbine Room of the Lincoln Center and 6-8 p.m. on March 5 in the Prairie Sage Room at the Fort Collins Senior Center.
