A Fort Collins woman has set out to help people with health conditions that would not allow them to wear mask.

Lori Lessley tells KDVR that she combined patterns to create a design that is less "form-fitting" then many other masks. She said the response from the masks she donated has been positive.

Lessley said this to KDVR:

I searched all over the internet trying to find the ones that are most suitable and most comfortable for the most amount of people with breathing problems, with oxygen tube and claustrophobia. If I can provide something that is an alternative and is more comfortable and more breathable, it will allow them to go places without being scorned or looked down on.

Unfortunately, Lessley is not in a position to start mass producing these masks. She said she plans to keep making them and reaching out local nursing homes that might need them.
