The Fort Collins Police Department needs the community's help in identifying a man who attempted to abduct a teenage female on the afternoon of September 3, 2019.

According to police, the young woman was riding her skateboard on Deerfield Drive in west Fort Collins, at approximately 3:40 p.m. She reportedly fell off the skateboard, and when this happened, a vehicle stopped and an adult male got out. He then approached the girl, grabbed her arm, and pushed her into his vehicle.

Two male witnesses were also in the area at this time watching what was going on, but the male suspect told them he knew the female. However, the female victim told the witnesses she did not know the suspect and then fled the area on foot, before calling police.

The vehicle is described as an older, tan, four-door sedan with bubbled window tint. The suspect tied to the vehicle is described as being Hispanic, in his early 20s, approximately 5-foot-10 with short hair, a thin mustache, bushy eyebrows, a deep voice and Spanish accent.

At the time of the attempted abduction, he was wearing a white tank top and blue jeans and had tattoos on both arms.
