Fort Collins’ Music City Hot Chicken to Open Mile High City Spot
The Choice City, the Mile High City and Music City. Soon, there will be a spot to talk Fort Collins, Denver, and Nashville, all in one spot.
It was only five years ago, in 2016, that two Fort Collins natives, CSU grads and brothers, opened up Music City Hot Chicken, 'Bringing Nashville Hot Chicken to Fort Collins.'
They have several sauces on the menu including Southern (no heat), Nashville Hot (Bigger Burn) and Flammable Solid (for $1 extra). I've been there a few times and have enjoyed each (non-hot) meal I've had.
It's always a fun afternoon to have some Hot Chicken and then go wash it down at Black Bottle Brewing just two doors down.
I've especially loved the beer trough that they have behind the bar. I don't know why I get a kick out of beer in a trough, but I do. That does bring up, however, their upcoming venture.
According to the Denver Post, soon you'll be able to find a satellite location of Music City inside of TRVE Brewing in Denver.
So now, we'll be able to have some Hot Chicken and then wash it down at '...a rad place that has killer beer.'
