Fort Collins 4th of July Celebration Events for 2022
The summer of 2022 brings the Independence Day celebration for America, and for Fort Collins. Here's what The Choice City has 'cooked' up for everyone, on July 2.
It's time to get back to getting together to have fun, and the City of Fort Collins has several things on the agenda to celebrate the 4th of July. Technically, it's all happening on the Saturday before the 4th, but that's OK.
Whether you're looking to 'hit a few holes,' run a little 5K, see a parade, or have a little party, they have you set for that Saturday. Which events will you be a part of?

With any luck, the winds we've seen this spring will have calmed down by early July. If not, that won't mean that folks still can't enjoy a wonderful summer day at and around City Park.
4TH OF JULY CELELBRATIOIN PLANS FOR FORT COLLINS:
The Firecracker 5K returns for its 23rd running, starting (Citizen's Race) at 7:30 a.m. Be sure to stick around to see the Elite Class 'zoom' the course at 8:40, and and the Kid's race at 9:00.
The 'Stars & Stripes' Golf Tournament will tee off at 7:30 a.m. at City Park Nine. Players can attempt to be free of the 'tyranny of bogeys,' that morning.
Folks will be allowed to start securing their viewing spot along Mountain Avenue, (between Howes Street and Jackson Avenue) at 8 a.m. for the big Independence Day Parade that starts at 10 a.m.
City Park Pool will have special 4th of July hours that day: 11:30 - 5:30 p.m. Cost: $3.
For a touch of 'old-time 4th of July fun,' the Fort Collins Trolley will be in operation from Noon until 5 p.m., taking people from City Park to Old Town.
City Park will be full of live music and food trucks for the celebration starting at 3 p.m. going until the event closes at 9:40 p.m.
