You hear it all the time when it comes to having fun in the Fort Collins and Northern Colorado area: "When are we going to get a Dave & Buster's around here?"

Fun, fun and then some more fun; that's what Dave & Buster's exudes. It could have been named "Buster & Dave's," but Buster lost the coin toss in 1982 when they were deciding the name.

So, here we are, 40 years later, waiting for a Dave & Buster's.

You see that sign and you get excited: Inside, there's games, a restaurant/bar, TVs for watching sports, just an overall "FUN" vibe. When it comes to Colorado, It doesn't hurt that they use orange and blue for their color scheme, either.

Fans of fun in the Northern Colorado area having been pining to get a Dave & Buster's for over a decade. Many thought that they'd put one by the Promenade Shops at Centerra, but that never happened. Some thought Fort Collins was ripe for one, but no.

Dave & Buster's has a lot of locations, but not as many as you may think. Considering that they've been around over 40 years, it's kind of surprising to find that they only have 156 spots.

HOW MANY DAVE & BUSTER'S ARE IN COLORADO?

Currently, they have two: One in Denver and one in Westminster. There will be three by the end of November 2023, as they're building a new one in Colorado Springs.

WHY NORTHERN COLORADO PROBABLY WON'T GET A DAVE & BUSTER'S

You may have seen how The Summit in Windsor, at the corner of Fairgrounds Avenue and Crossroads Boulevard, became Main Event in June of 2023.

It turns out, that in the summer of 2022, Dave & Buster's took over ownership of Main Event in an $855+ deal.

So, with a Main Event already in Northern Colorado, having a Dave & Buster's as well, might as well be a fantasy.

The Rush Events Center & Amusement Park Returns To Evan's, Colorado

Located on Highway 85 in Evans, Colorado, the newly branded Rush Events Center & Amusement Park is back and ready to entertain an entirely new generation of families for years to come. A local couple, Ron and Cindy Harper, watched what was once a Northern Colorado staple sit abandoned for over a decade and decided to do something about it, and bought the old property. They have worked countless hours since that time to restore it to its glory days, and wow, did they ever. Bigger and Better is a complete understatement.
