Fun News: Fort Collins, Colorado, Welcomes a Cool Toys, Games & Puzzles Library

A great idea has come to the Choice City: the opportunity to "rent" games, toys, puzzles, and more, to entertain the family.

Every Colorado family has a shelf or two of games that they no longer play; a shelf of puzzles that they've put together "way too many" times; and a storage area full of toys that don't get played with.

How about a place where you could check out those things, just like at the library? It would make it easier to see if you like that toy/game and make it easier to introduce the family to new fun.

Soon, you might hear parents or kids saying that they have to head over to "The TGP," to pick something up.

What will it be, this week? That one game they've been wanting to check out? That puzzle they saw last time and want to give a shot? Maybe that doll that Sara had her eye on.

The Toy, Game, and Puzzle Library has landed at Foothills Mall and is ready to set you up with fun and adventure, on a 3-week basis. You stop in, take a look around, decide on the item(s) you'd like to take home, and that's about it.

WHERE IS THE TOY, GAME & PUZZLE LIBRARY IN FORT COLLINS?

They searched and searched for the right location, and lucked into Foothills Mall giving them a space on the east side of the mall by the Foothills Activity Center.

HOW DOES THE TOY, GAME & PUZZLE LIBRARY IN FORT COLLINS WORK?

• You can take almost every item (everything has been donated) home for up to three weeks, for a small fee.
• A Colorado I.D. and a credit card are required - for security purposes - to help make sure the item comes back.
• They are a 501 (c) 3 organization, and monies raised will go towards purchasing new items for the library.
• All employees are volunteers.
• HOURS: Tuesday: 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  SATURDAY: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
