The Denver Broncos have been having a weird week.

After news broke on Tuesday that their backup quarterback, Chad Kelly, had been arrested following an incident in which he allegedly trespassed into a family's Englewood home, he was given the boot from the team the very next day. That left the Broncos with starting quarterback Case Keenum and number two in line, Kevin Hogan, both of whom coach Vance Joseph has claimed to have full confidence in — but the team also just added former Colorado State quarterback Garrett Grayson to the mix as well.

Grayson played for CSU from 2011-2014 and during his college career, became Colorado State's all-time passing yards leader. After college, Grayson bounced around to the Saints and Falcons during the next few years, but was ultimately waived by both teams. More recently, the former Ram was signed to the Salt Lake Stallions of the Alliance of American Football, and less than a month later, has now joined the Broncos. Grayson took the place of wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie, who was just moved to the active roster. For now, it's unlikely that Grayson will be added to the 53-man roster, unless injuries force it to happen.
