Five Northern Colorado cities have been ranked among the state’s smartest. According to a new report published by the website Zippia, Estes Park, Louisville, Erie, Superior and Frederick are all in the top 10.

The Reporter Herald says that the study is based on the percentage of adults over age 25 with at least a high school diploma and the percentage of high school dropouts aged 16-20 for the 79 largest cities in Colorado.

Estes Park came in on top of the list, and Castle Pines was number two. Louisville came in third, Erie ranked fifth, Superior was seventh, and Frederick was ninth.

Boulder ranked 14th in the survey; Berthoud ranked 22nd; Firestone, 39th; and Longmont, 44th.
