'One who buys tickets on Craigslist, is never ever ever getting into the Taylor Swift show.' - Ancient Proverb.

OK, maybe I just made that up, but really, don't go buying tickets to big shows (or probably any show) on Craigslist, or other generally sketchy websites. That's a lesson T-Swift fans are learning the hard way in Denver.

According to CBS Denver, the Denver Police Department has released a warning after receiving reports of fake concert tickets being sold online. One victim claims he paid $900 for fake tickets to the Taylor Swift show coming to the Pepsi Center next week, and was even given a receipt by the fraudulent vendor.

CBS Denver also advises asking the seller to meet you at the event. 'Ask them to walk through the turnstile first and come back out so you know they’re real,' they report. 'Then you can exchange cash for tickets and get to what matters most — the show.'

My general concert-goer advice: Best to stick to known ticket brokers to avoid bad blood, for any concert.
