Election season can be a confusing time-- understandably so. There are what seems like a million ballot measures to read through in order to be an informed voter, and going through the election results just seems like homework.

Luckily, Facebook has stepped in to help us.

When I logged on this morning, I noticed this:

Clicking that button, I then had to answer a few questions. Did I live in Fort Collins? Have I followed Jared Polis, our new governor, yet?

After that, I was taken to Facebook's all-new 'Town Hall' feature, which looks like this:

Facebook uses your location to find your newly elected officials locally, and also, according to the description above, lets you contact them right from your dashboard. Cool, right?

It also organizes your local, state, and federal representatives so you know exactly what's going on both in your district and in Colorado.

Yeah, election season is a confusing time, but now that it's over, we can all breathe a deep sigh of relief that we won't be bombarded with campaign commercials and ads online. Now, we get to bask in the glory of having voted and taken part in our democracy...and look forward to 2020.
