Colorado Welcomes On The Hook Fish & Chips’ First Sit-Down Restaurant
2026 marked On the Hook Fish and Chips' 10th year of having their popular food trucks across the nation, and the year that they opened their first dine-in experience in Johnstown, Colorado, just east of Loveland,
Where is the Dine-In On the Hook Fish & Chips in Johnstown?
Within the 25/34 development, at 4884 Larimer Parkway, you'll find several businesses, including Lovesac, Chicken Salad Chick and Sherwin Williams. You'll also find the familiar On the Hook logo above the door at #103; they opened to the public on June 27, 2026.
Grabbing lunch at the On the Hook Dine-in was my first experience with On the Hook Fish and Chips; I knew they sold fried Alaskan cod, but that was about it. When I found that I could get a cup of clam chowder, I was very happy; I'm a big chowder fan. I ordered the fish (3 pieces of cod) but skipped the chips (fries) for the clam chowder.

The prices seemed about right for "fast casual" these days: $22, total, for the fish (a large amount,) chowder, and a fountain drink (one size: $3.) Being that they were still celebrating their grand opening, I was able to score one of their trucker hats from their On the Hook Outfitters line.
You can order ahead online, you can order via a QR code on your table, or you can go up to the counter (as I did.) When you order at the counter, you get a table tent number so they can deliver your food to your table. The walls are decorated with photos of movie stars with On the Hook Fish and Chips inserted into the photos; it's fun.
They're open 11:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. every day except Sunday, when they're closed.
