Sometimes all it takes is a dream and a little bit of cash to stake your claim on Colorado history, and that opportunity actually exists right now in Denver.

There's a pizza joint that's been around for nearly 30 years set to close at the end of this month, but while its owner is seeking free time to go off and try some new adventures, he's actually hoping that rather than closing up shop, someone will buy the place and pick up where he's left off.

Enzo's End on Colfax - and its owner Charlie Puma - announced on Facebook June 13 that they're closing down, and after being overwhelmed by comments from sad customers, he stated that maybe Enzo's is worth keeping intact.

After being blown away by the outpouring of support, he came back and commented in reply to others' posts about their sadness:

I'm not suggesting we have a Steve Jobs level of emotional branding, but maybe there is something at Enzo's worth keeping intact. So, please give me some feedback: Is $20,000 (less than 6 weeks revenue) too much to ask for the brand, trade name, menus, recipes, phone number, domain registry, goodwill etc?

So there you have it. A mere $20k could get you into the pizza business. It should be noted... the investment doesn't include the equipment in the restaurant or the physical location, so that expense up front is really just for the business, trade secrets and of course, some training from Puma himself, who has been doing the cooking the last few years.

Westword was the first to have this story and has all the details on how to contact Mr. Puma if it sounds like your slice of pie. Maybe now's the time to make that dream come true!

Is This The Biggest Pizza In Colorado? It's Massive...

While in Downtown Denver recently, we got to stop at Atomic Cowboy, which features the famous Denver Biscuit Company, and Fat Sully's NY Pizza. While I love the Denver Biscuit Company, the moment we walked in the doors and smelt that fantastic pizza, I knew that was what I wanted. And once I saw this massive pie, I knew that's what I NEEDED! Let's show you what I'm talking about.
