Enjoy Alcoholic Ice Cream in Greeley This Week
Ice cream outings with the kids just got interesting.
Wiley Roots Brewing Co. is serving up a sugar rush with a bit of a buzz this week in Greeley.
Beginning Thursday (Aug. 27), expect ice cream made from beer produced with pureed strawberry, caramel, marshmallow, milk, sugar and vanilla. They will also be releasing four new beers this weekend, which will be available to go at the 625 Third Street brewery.
“We know serving beer from an ice cream machine may appear gimmicky, but for us it’s much more than that. It’s about making beer fun again and welcoming new beer drinkers,” said Scott Davidson, Marketing Manager at Wiley Roots in a Craft Brewing Business interview.
Considering the way 2020 is going, alcoholic beverages merged with an innocent childhood favorite is just what we need right now.
According to Craft Brewing Business, starting Thursday, customers can order ice-cream-themed beers online.
