Legendary Water World Introduces New ‘Adults Only’ Night Swim

When you think of all the kids from Denver and beyond that have gone to Colorado's legendary Water World over the years, the idea of coming back as an adult for an "Adults Only" night sounds very fitting.

When is Water World's Inaugural 'Adults Only' Night Swim?

It's dubbed the "Sunset Swim," at Water Worlds new Summit Canyon, on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Here's the chance to leave the chaos of the kids behind for one night; also, a chance for those who attended the water park as kids to relive those memories without feeling "out of place."

If I were to relive the Water World of my youth, I would bring up how one trip I got a terrible sunburn on the tops of my feet when I neglected to put sunscreen there, because I had sneakers on. Stupid mistake.

How Much is This Special 'Adults Only' Night at Water World?

The "Sunset Swim" will run from 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. that night for $34,99 (plus taxes, fees... $36.39 total.) Your ticket gets you:

• Specialty drinks (available in "glow cups" that you can purchase.)
• Entertainment from a live DJ.
• Exclusive access to the Summit Canyon area.

Summers often come with "reunions" of some fashion; what a great idea it would be to get "the old gang" together for some drinks checking out the new part of Water World at night. Maybe hit the nearby Round 2 Sports Tavern beforehand for some wings and a game of pool before "hitting the pool."
