Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment spent $69 million to produce Despicable Me.

It ended up grossing over $250 million when it was released in 2010. That's just the U.S. numbers!

That's what they call in Hollywood- "A Blockbuster"

When Hollywood has a blockbuster, they almost always plan for a sequel.

The case is no different here- Despicable Me 2 is set to be in theaters in 2013--

and TRI-102.5 has the first trailer for the film--featuring the loveable "Minions"!

Arguably one of the best movies of 2010: Despicable Me. Evil genius plots to take over the world, little girls take over his heart. Funny minions.  Hopefully there were no spoilers there for you- if you haven't seen it- please see it immediately.

Despicable Me 2 is set for release in July of 2013.  Seems a long ways off- BUT it appears Al Pacino will be voicing one of the characters!  This is going to be great!

Who better to start getting movie-goers excited about the new animated film? None other than Gru's minions!

I am thrilled about this movie!
