The city and county of Denver were one of the numerous counties that extended their stay-at-home orders past the expiration of the statewide order of Colorado on April 26.

Denver's stay-at-home order was extended until May 8 and will not be extended by Denver Mayor Michael Hancock. According to the Denver Channel, conditions for the COVID-19 virus do not warrant another extension for the stay-at-home order for Colorado's capital city and county.
