There was being single, and then there was being single during the pandemic. Things got ten times worse for singles when access to bars, concerts, and more were restricted and opportunities to meet went down the drain.

My friends in Fort Collins scoured Tinder and Bumble and anything else they could find for connection, but was it worth it? There's one Colorado city that ranked the "best" for singles in 2020, and it's not the Choice City.

Denver, according to WalletHub.com, ranked number 3 on the list of best cities to be single in 2020. Denver had the highest "singles gender balance", ranked high in "dating opportunities" and had one of the highest "fun and recreation" rankings. Check out the rest of the stats right here.

The results are based on the amount of singles living in Denver, plus the average cost of a date. Since we have over 300 days of sun each year, there's no need for us to head inside to a fancy restaurant: we'll take a beautiful outdoor picnic instead, please, or a brisk hike.
