It's been hot this summer, but summer is almost over. Fall officially begins on Saturday. September has been unseasonably hot.  In Denver they have had nine  straight days in the 90s. That is a record for the month.

According to Denver7 Chief Meteorologist Mike Nelson,  The Denver metro area has had 59 days of 90 degrees or higher this summer!  That is fourth all-time for number of days of 90° plus weather.

  • 73 days in 2012
  • 61 days in 2000
  • 60 days in 1994
  • 59 days in 2018

The streak should end today. The forecast calls for temperatures in the 80s.
