Looking for Love? You Might Want to Move Out of Colorado

Natives tend to hope that transplants will move out of Colorado, but you may want to leave too — if you're single, that is.

Slotsource.com recently went searching for the best places to find love in the country, and the Centennial State didn't even make the Top 10.

According to the company's research, Colorado is the 11th best state to pursue romantic love. While this isn't a devastating position, it may not be ideal for Coloradans already struggling in the dating department.

So, how did Slotsource.com come up with this rating?

The website looked at each state's divorce rates, marriage rates, percentage of single households, the average cost of dating, and online searches for the dating apps "Tinder" and "Bumble."

Colorado's divorce rate is slightly over 3%, while our marriage rate is nearly 8%. We also have a decently high percentage of singles who are searching for matchmaking opportunities, giving us an overall score of 2.68.

Things could be worse for hopeful lovers in the Centennial State, but Slotsource.com found that South Dakota, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Maine, Nevada, Iowa, Vermont, North Dakota, Montana, and Washington, D.C. are better regions for the romantic.
