Because...duh.

University of Colorado at Boulder has been struggling with a rise of COVID-19 cases among their student body recently, having to shift to remote learning earlier this semester due to a massive uptick in positive cases. Not only that, but gatherings for those between 18-22 were prohibited for a period of time.

Now, CU Boulder has decided to make changes to their upcoming Spring semester.

According to 9News, the school will "replace the traditional spring break with 'wellness days' to help prevent the spread of travel-related COVID-19 infections." These days have been scheduled for February 17 and March 25.

Previously, the students have been allowed a weeklong break in March.
