CSP Suggests Employers Send Workers Home for Snowstorm
You might have made the trek to work today only to have turned around and headed home a few short hours later. That is exactly what happened to my sister this morning. The snow is coming down and it appears that it is only going to get worse throughout the day and well into tomorrow.
Colorado State Patrol has even suggested that if employers do not absolutely have to have employees at work on Tuesday and Wednesday, then they should consider sending people home. If it is not necessary to be open, it's probably best not to be. Alternatively, closing early today and opening late tomorrow could help traffic and safety on the roads.
