Colorado Unemployment System to Go Down For Several Days
Those Coloradans who are unemployed need work. Colorado's unemployment system needs work as well.
The new stimulus package will be assisting those who are unemployed due to the COVID-19 pandemic; but according to CBS4 Denver, when those benefits are set to roll out Colorado's computer system will be going through a much-needed upgrade.
For several days in a row, sometime in January, the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment will be giving their systems a full overhaul. Those needing to file a claim, request payments, or interact with the system at all, will be out of luck during the overhaul.
Once the revamped system is up and running though, they'll have extended hours and extra staffing to accommodate those who need assistance.
