Colorado State University Pushes Spring Break Back 4 Weeks
Colorado State University students will have to wait a little longer for Spring Break in 2020.
CSU announced that spring break has been pushed back four weeks to April 12-16. All instruction will then shift to remote-only from April 19-14. Finals week (May 10-14) remains unchanged.
According to CSU executive Vice President Mary Pedersen, these changes were made to help reduce the potential for COVID transmission and to help eliminate the transmission a potentially high risk travel period for spring break.
Classes will begin as scheduled on Jan. 19. CSU will continue to do a mixture of in-person, hybrid and remote learning during the 12 weeks leading up to spring break.
Fortunately, CSU students will still get a spring break. The University of Colorado at Boulder canceled its spring break outright.
