Crushing, heartbreaking, and tragic. Over the holiday break, tragedy struck our friends and neighbors down in Boulder County as the Marshall Fire ripped through, destroying close to 1,000 structures with two people still missing (as of Monday, Jan. 3 at 8:35 a.m.)

The cause for the fire is still unknown, but wind gusts that reached 100 miles per hour in many areas near the fire in the foothills quickly swept flames all over the place, destroying so many Coloradans' lives and belongings.

We want to help, and our men's basketball game in Moby Arena on January 4 provides us with an important opportunity to support those in our community dealing with this heartbreaking tragedy."
