Dirt bikers stumbled across human remains while riding in the Grand County, Utah desert in February of this year.

Now, The Denver Channel reports that the Mesa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) has identified the remains as those of a missing Colorado man.

Friends reported 53-year-old Frank Taylor, of Grand Junction, as missing in March of 2019.

Authorities arrested Fruita resident Matthew Logan, 33, in connection with the Taylor case in October of that year.

Logan is now facing charges of Murder in the First Degree and Tampering with a Deceased Human Body.

The case is still under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
