Snow Is Not In Our Forecast Before The End of This Month
There's been some cooky things floating around social media lately... maybe you've seen them, maybe you haven't.
Some people - and some websites - claim that snow is in the forecast for the state of Colorado before the end of the month, including the Denver metro area and the I-25 corridor up into Northern Colorado, leading many to believe that we will have a "white Halloween."
We will not.

Officially the forecast for the next 10 days is calling for highs in the 50s and 60s with very little chance of any precipitation at all for quite some time. While it will drop into the 30s and 40s overnight around NoCo, even IF a flurry fell from the sky, which is not likely, you probably wouldn't even see it on the ground when you woke up, let alone for trick or treating time on October 31st.
The crazy thing is I feel like as a kid growing up in Colorado there were a ton of snowy Halloweens, but going back and looking at the official snowfall records, there really haven't been too many, believe it or not.

For this year, as the ski resorts start prepping to fire up the snow machines and get the season started as soon as they can, there MAY be some limited snowfall in the mountains before the end of the month, but the odds of any of it making its way down to anywhere near I-25 are pretty slim, and certainly not for trick or treating.
