City of Loveland Forming Downtown Development Authority [VIDEO]

The City of Loveland may be about to go to the next level.

They are already world renowned for being the Sweetheart City, and the whole world pays attention every Valentine's Day. The city has a lot more than that going for it, and to enhance it, voters have approved the formation of a Downtown Development Authority.

The effects that DDA's have had on some Colorado towns has been positive. Take Fort Collins for example. The interviews in this video tell the tale of a formerly sleepy, now bumping downtown area.

Business owners in the area have voted to create the DDA. Covered areas will be from a few blocks east of Lincoln, to a few blocks west of Cleveland. The north side goes to the statue of Poseidon at Taco John's to Highway 402 on the south side.
